Moyea PPT to PDF Converter does much more than just transforming your PowerPoint presentations into PDF files.
This free conversion tool allows you to apply a number of settings to your output PDF files so that they retain the quality of the original files - especially when transferring high-quality images from your presentations. Thus, you can set the maximum level of compression that you consider acceptable for your output files, always trying to find a compromise between file size and quality. Other settings available will let you embed the original fonts into the output PDF - note that this will increase the weight of the file -, change or preserve the colors of the images, rotate the pages, etc.
The program can create PDF files compatible with different Adobe Acrobat versions, namely 3.0, 4.0, and 5.0, which will allow you to open and edit the resulting PDFs using that tool. These files can also be protected either using Adobe's password protection standard, or by simply deciding which operations the recipient of the file will be allowed to perform (view, print, modify, copy, etc.). Not many free tools will give you this much.
Pros
- Supports all MS Office types of documents
- Support for HTML to PDF conversion
- Intuitive interface
- Clear conversion report
Cons
- None
Cons: 1. Demands Microsoft Office documents. I use Kingsoft Office and I have to cancel 4 Windows Installers before I can select a file 2. Drag and drop file (into moyea) would be far more convenient than browsing through folders in order to find each file.
Is this tool working?
It used to work. Now, it only gives me error messages. Does it need any other program to make its conversion? I can't figure out why it won't work. Even files it previously converted, now it doesn't. Looking for an alternative.
